- What is District Training?
District Training is the initial step or introduction of players into the Olympic Development Program. District Training Centers are open to all boys and girls ages 11-14. These training centers are for those who either have a desire to be invited to the next step in the ODP process or simply to improve as a player.
District Trainings will be held from September to May, once a month. Each District Training Center will have a theme that is age appropriate and reflects the standards of an ODP State Team player.
These hour and a half training sessions will focus on the development of technique as it applies to the game. This will be accomplished through game-like activities and small-sided play. Goalkeeper Training may or may not be available. District coaches will provide feedback (but not written) to players during and after training sessions on ways to improve their technical ability.
If a District Coach identifies a player that they would like to invite to the ODP State Pool a letter is then handed to that player. For the 2008-2009 ODP year, only players born in 97, 96, 95, and 94 are eligible. ODP goes by birth year which is different from the way clubs register.

- How Much Does District Training Cost?
$20for pre-registration (must be done at least 1 day before training date) $25 for walk-up registration. All Pre-registration must be done 1 day before the posted training date. You will not be able to pre-register the day of training.

Each Indiana Youth Soccer ODP District will arrange their own dates and times throughout the fall months of September, October, November, Indiana Youth Soccer ODP District Trainings will occur once a month.
Winter (December, January, February) TBD by each District
Each Indiana Youth Soccer ODP District will arrange their own dates and times throughout the winter months of December, January, and February. Indiana Youth Soccer ODP District Trainings will occur once a month.
Spring (March, April, May) TBD by each District
