  • Huntington University is seeking a Head Coach - Women’s Soccer. The position is part-time. Responsibilities include administering all facets of the athletic program such as recruiting, budgeting, scheduling, travel, practices, public and media relations, and complying with all NAIA, conference, and institutional regulations and policies.

Candidates must have a strong personal faith in Jesus Christ and a desire to serve others. Candidates must embrace the mission of Huntington University in all aspects of this position and be committed to an NAIA program of intercollegiate athletics. Previous soccer coaching experience required. Previous head coaching experience preferred. Candidates must allow for flexibility in work schedule, including evenings and weekends as needed. Evidence of strong communication and organizational skills required.

The Technical Director is responsible for cultivating a love of the game of soccer by working with available resources to provide an environment that creates a positive culture and promotes player development in an atmosphere of sportsmanship and teamwork. The Technical Director is also responsible to provide direction and consistency for the overall soccer experience for players, coaches, and parents that is consistent with the Club’s strategic plan and priorities.

      The DOC should possess a USSF “C” license or comparable NSCAA diploma and USSF National Youth License. DOC will have documented experience as a successful youth coach and trainer. In addition, the DOC will have demonstrated leadership ability and the ability to command the respect of his or her coaching colleagues. The DOC should have demonstrated success in the operations of a large, multi-disciplinary soccer program.

    • The Anderson Blitz soccer club, a club of around 150 players each Spring season, is looking to fill their position of Director of Coaching & Player Development. This position will vacant after this Spring season. They are seeking a person who is well organized and has coaching experience. A USSF or NSCAA license is strongly preferred, but not required. The person in this position is instrumental in the day to day management and promotion of the club, as well as recruiting players. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, conducting player tryouts, selecting coaches, and managing all game and practice schedules.
